Great News!!!

Hello everybody

I forgot to announce that in the present issue of Quick Cards Made Easy (Issue 133) I was lucky enough to be chosen to be on the Reader's Design Team and got to play with the lovely free papers in the magazine back in September.

As a result my card was featured in a very small picture at the bottom of the Reader's Design Team page and also a bigger featured picture in the online magazine/digital subscription.

I thought I would share with you all the pictures I took of the card before I sent it to Catherine Dean at Quick Cards.

I used every different design of paper to make a stamped decoupage card and finished it off with a length of green satin ribbon, some glitter and some gems and one of the sentiments from the magazine too.

I am absolutely over the moon and hope that I get to do this again sometime soon..
Thanks for looking Take care Tanya xx

It's Digi Choosday Day - Week 47 - Xmas Celebrations

Hello everybody
Well it’s Digi Choosday day and this week’s challenge is ‘Xmas Celebrations’.
What would celebrations at Christmas be without a festive little sing along???
The choir digi from the Festive Hollybobs Work & Play 5  images fits the bill perfectly.
I printed the coloured image out four times and decoupaged it and matted and layered it onto red card.  I made a little box from the spotty blue and white paper from the download and created a little box for the decoupage with some snowy acetate and then cut the snowflake shapes and bow out on my Cuttlebug in white and the spotty paper.  The backing red and blue snowflake stripy paper and matching big snowflake paper are also from the download, as is the large poinsettia in the corner (again decoupaged in four layers).  I finished the card off with five red Card Candi in the corner.
Here is my crafty make.

Hello everybody
Hope you've had a good weekend everybody and a good start to the week too.
Well it’s DIGI CHOOSDAY day and this week’s challenge is WINTER COLOURS THANK YOU.
When I think of winter I think of ice blue and sparkly silver so with this in mind I have created an oversized gift tag for that special friend’s present.  They are definitely going to know they are special if they receive a gift with this tag attached to it.  Or it could be used as a card as well.

November Christmas Card

Hello folks and here begins another month.
The year is nearly ended and where did it go.  When I started my journey of making a new Christmas card each month at the beginning of the year I didn't think it would fly by as quickly as it has done and now with only a month to go and one card left to reveal to you, I have now made a start on making Christmas presents for friends and family and will reveal them obviously after the day.  I just love being creative and being able to treat friends and family to my creations.
Anyway it's been such a good few weeks for me since I joined the design team over at Digi Choosday and hope you are keeping up with my posts each Tuesday with the new challenges we have for you.
So onto my card make this month:
