It's Digi Choosday - Week 26 - Add Some Bling (Glitter or Gems)

Hello everybody
It’s Digi Choosday day again.
Hope you’re ready to enter another Digi Choosday Challenge.
This week our challenge is  ‘ADD SOME BLING (GLITTER OR GEMS) ’.
Full details of what I’ve used can be found in the Thumb Linkies below.
For my make this week I have used the fabulous Winnie in Wonderland collection, again.  I can’t stop using it….I’ve even dreamt it this past few weeks.  Ha ha ha.  Yes, it’s curiouser and curiouser….
Searching through my stash I found a crown shaped card from who knows where and I thought it would be good to use for my make as crowns are normally covered in gems and stones and sparkle!  I printed the gold spotty paper onto the crown and then used elements from the design sheets and printed out a flamingo which I’ve decoupaged and then added Glossy Accents, Deco Art Glamour Dust, silicone gel glue and Dewdrop Ink in Jumbo Java to ink the edges.  The heart bling I’ve used has just been waiting in my crafty stash to be used and so th…

WINNIE IN WONDERLAND- the biggest make I've ever done!!

Hello everyone
So a few weeks ago when the Winnie In Wonderland collection came out I had an insane idea to make my biggest project ever and I reckon the following quotes from the Alice in Wonderland book describe my make perfectly!!!!   Ha ha ha

“Have I  gone mad? I'm afraid so, but let me tell you something, the best people usually are.”  ― Lewis CarrollAlice in Wonderland
“Imagination is the only weapon in the war against reality.”  ― Lewis CarrollAlice in Wonderland
“Yes, that's it! Said the Hatter with a sigh, it's always tea time.”  ― Lewis CarrollAlice in Wonderland
“What a strange world we live in...Said Alice to the Queen of Hearts”  ― Lewis CarrollAlice in Wonderland
And so here is my grand unveiling!!!  Yes a little bit bonkers and truly mad....but a make I truly truly enjoyed creating. I've immersed myself truly into this collection and used lots of stuff to make a whopping sized hat with the addition of papers and a clock and a bottle and teapot and feathe…

It's Digi Choosday - Week 25 - Add Some Ribbon or Twine

Hello everybody         It’s Digi Choosday day again.
Hope you’re ready to enter another Digi Choosday Challenge.
This week our challenge is  ‘ADD RIBBON or TWINE ’.
Full details of what I’ve used can be found in the Thumb Linkies below and my ingredient list
For my make this week I have used the shadow box template from the Little Kingdom collection but printed the template onto papers from the brand new Winnie In Wonderland collection and then printed out some embellies and some of the digi sheets from the same collection to make a triple shadow box wall hanging that I’ve put some lovely heart vintage ribbon on the back of.  It’s going to take pride of place in my craft room.
The Winnie In Wonderland collection is absolutely fantastic and is based on the Alice stories by Lewis Carroll and is  full of lots of papers, digis in black and white and colour, embellies, tags and sentiments and can be bought as a full collection on download and on CD and in little collections too.  There…

It's Digi Choosday - Week 24 - For A Male

Hello everybody
It’s Digi Choosday day again.  Hope you’re ready to enter another Digi Choosday Challenge.

This week our challenge is  ‘FOR A MALE ’.

Full details of what I’ve used can be found in the Thumb Linkies below.
But as this week is a male challenge and it’s Father’s Day in the UK next Sunday I’ve decided to make my card for my dad.  He’s a lovely man and deserves to be treated to something special that’s handmade just for him….so of course Polkadoodles digis fit the bill exactly!!!  I’ve made an 8x8 card by using the Sticks & Bones collection.  I used one of the background scenes and then layered one of the frames over the top and resized it and cut the centre out and then using one of the character digis I’ve decoupaged him in a few layers and then mounted on the frame together with using one of the many alphabets on the collection to spell out the word ‘DAD’ and decoupaged that and then finally added the pterodactyl decoupage and some palm trees.  I edged the fr…

WINNIE IN WONDERLAND - POLKADOODLES - LARGE CARD

Hello folk

Hope you've had a good weekend and managed to get some crafting done or family time or just chilled out.

For the past week I've been colouring up a very large group of digis that I've merged together from the brand new Polkadoodles Winnie in Wonderland Collection.

I used my Do Crafts Designer to merge the digis that you can buy individually:

plus the cat image onto the back of one of the playing card designs and then coloured the digis with my Derwent Inktense Pencils with touches of glitter and glossy accents here and there and then a length of red and white hearts ribbon and the sentiment 'We're all mad here'.

I took me ages to colour up the image but soooo enjoyable and good chance for me to have a practice with my Derwent Inktense Pencils that I got at the end of April.

I printed the A4 digi onto Daler Rowney Mixed Media paper and then folded a sheet of A3 card in half for the card base.  But it's much cheaper to buy all the digis as one a…

WINNIE IN WONDERLAND - JOURNAL

Hello everybody

Hope you've had a nice weekend and if you've had the sunshine you've enjoyed it too!!

I've been sat in the garden using my Derwent Inktense pencils to colour up the front cover of my new journal.  I've never done a journal before so hope that you'll follow me through my pages that I plan to do each month.

So for the cover of my journal I have used the new Winnie In Wonderland Collection.  One of the papers from the collection I have using a graphics package laid the digi called 'Time Will Tell' which you can get right HERE as a single digi or on the full collection which you can get on download HERE

Here is my make:

To colour the digi I used my Derwent Inktense pencils in these colours - Sea Blue, Antique White, Dark Aquamarine, Peacock Blue, Tan, Madder Brown, Lagoon, Iris Blue, Mustard, Carmine Pink, Poppy Red.  And then spread Glossy Accents on the clock face and covered with Glamour Dust in Crystal and finished off with white dots f…
