It's Digi Choosday Day - Week 35 - Anything Goes

Hello everybody              It’s Digi Choosday day again.  Hope you’re ready to enter another Digi Choosday Challenge. This week our challenge is ‘ANYTHING GOES ’, as it will be every week.  So you’ve no excuse not to enter with your wonderful crafty creations.  But the design team will have their own challenge theme just to keep them on their toes, which this week it’s BACK TO SCHOOL. Full details of what I’ve used can be found in the Thumb Linkies below. So for my make this week I’ve used a big apple from the Winnie Fruit Punch collection which I have printed out twice in very large A4 size, because everybody needs to take an apple for the teacher don’t they, and then combined this with the sentiment and books from the same collection and then used one of the pre-coloured digis from the Dollie Goes East Collection because she looks like she’s going to school with her little back pack on her shoulders and she’s actually called Dollie Goes East Backpack and is available in black and wh…

It's Digi Choosday Day - Week 34 - Anything Goes

Hello everybody              It’s Digi Choosday day again.  Hope you’re ready to enter another Digi Choosday Challenge. This week our challenge is ‘ANYTHING GOES ’, as it will be every week.  So you’ve no excuse not to enter with your wonderful crafty creations.  But the design team will have their own challenge theme just to keep them on their toes, which this week it’s USE SOMETHING NEW. Full details of what I’ve used can be found in the Thumb Linkies below but this week I've made an 8x8 card using the Summertime collection which can be found on CD and download.  I've used Serif Craft Artist to size the flowers in three sizes so I could layer them over one another and then added glitter to the centres and Liquid Pearls in Brights - Blue around the edges.  The papers and the sentiment are from the collection too, but I've recoloured the sentiment which was blackboard style sentiment to co-ordinate with the papers.  The leaves I've used are from the Magic Garden collect…

It's Digi Choosday Day - Week 33 - Anything Goes

Hello everybody

So I've grabbed a bunch of different shades of blue gel pens this week and coloured up one of the wonderful pages from the Colour Therapy Florabunda Collection (adult colouring) and then glazed the centre of the flowers with glossy accents and a splash of loose glitter in the centres and finished off with a length of pale blue chiffon ribbon and a sentiment from the Eden Collection - You Brighten My Day. I have decorated the flowers with touches of Liquid Pearls in Baby Blue and the corners of the card too and drawn a wavy black line around the edges too.

I’m excited to see your makes for this week’s challenge.  Perhaps you could choose to create a card, a …

I’ve gone all shape-y this week and made a card totally from the luscious Magic Garden Collection It’s full of beautiful papers and embellies and flowers and prettiness.  My shaped card comes from one of the tag embellishments which I’ve cut out twice after enlarging it on Serif Craft Artist and then have layered one of the black and white/chalkboard sentiments over the top.  Printed it out and then cut round the shapes and folded along the top.  Then I printed out some of the rolled flowers in different sizes in blue and pink from the collection  and cut them out by hand (That's how easy the stuff is) and together with some leaves and then layered them alo…

Third Journal Page

Hello everybody.
So I'm back to share with you another one of my journal pages.... again a double page spread.  It's my third encounter with the lovely Dylusions Journal and I really really really loved creating this page.
I printed out two sheets of the cloud paper from the Polkadoodles Serenity Collection but over one of the pages I merged one of the Serenity Fairies in black and white over the top and then I did a bit of experimenting with my Derwent Inktense pencils.  I laid the colour onto the page and then instead of blending with water I used white gesso to overpaint and this blended the colours perfectly and makes the digi look almost like a no lines colouring.  I then used glossy accents on the wings and sprinkled glitter on top and then added white dots with a Signo white gel pen.  The butterflies on the lefthand side of the page have been coloured the same way, but the ones on the right side of the page were the pre-coloured ones on the collection.  The sentiment I…
